After almost opening up in Canterbury KENT, Peter & Josie Giles decided on their annual family favourite hotspots of DEVON to Found their new innovative ideas of The Devonshire Soup Company Ltd.
And so in 1999 they moved Lock, Stock and Barrell to Devon and began the Search for the perfect Location.
Surrounded by open Farmlands and the opportunities of local sustainability for Purchasing and Sales, Torrington in North Devon provided all that was required.
And so in 2000 amongst some of the oldest buildings in Torrington, the Company was Born.
Early Summer 2007 saw the building works in full flow at New Street

October 2007 saw the newly comissioned Staff Facility Block opening.
January 2008 saw the New Kitchen Extension Go Live!
which now offers the Ultimate in Hygenic, Food Production Facilities.
By the end of January 2008 phase 2 of our renovation works at New Street should be completed, to include an all new High Risk Bottling Room segregated as a Clean Room for Zero Contamination.
By the middle of February 2008 Phase 3 of the renovation works should be completed, which includes a brand new conversion, consisting of a Full flow, double chilling room and 3rd Refrigerator Extension.
